                     EARTHQUAKE OF HAITI
 The earthquake of Haiti of 2010 was registered on January 12, 2010 at 16:53.
 The effects caused on this country, the poorest of Latin America, [needed appointment] have been devastating. The bodies recovered on January 25 were overcoming the 150.000, being calculated that the number of dead men would exceed 200.000.6 7 The definitive information of the affected ones it was announced by the prime minister Jean-Max Bellerive in the first anniversary of the earthquake, January 12, 2011, being known that in the earthquake 316.000 persons died, 350.000 more remained wounded, and more than 1,5 million persons remained without home 8 is considered to be one of the humanitarian catastrophes more serious of history.9
 This earthquake has been the strongest registered in the zone from the happened one in 1770. The earthquake was perceptible in nearby countries as Cuba, Jamaica and Dominican Republic, where it provoked dread and preventive evacuations.
